History of our hotel
La Marquesa Hotel

The history of the palace where our hotel is located goes back to the era of the nazari dinasty around 1273 a.C.

Mr. Francisco González Padilla purchased this palace in 1904 and, from then on, different generations of the González family have refurbished the original building, discovering the beautiful pasterworks of the principal walls of this complex.

Nowadays, a complete refurbishing has been completed and has given to all the guests and visitors a great quantity of historical data that reveal the importance of this antique almunia, together with its original beauty and splendour.

A greatmuseum

The history of the bilding and its structure allow us to offer unique and singular rooms. All of them are different and have their own character depending on their location.

The Renaissance area has polichrome works in wood and gypsum. The antique Arabian almunia includes three rooms with original plasterworks and architectural details of the nazari period and, the most contemporary area, have luminous and original rooms with different configurations.
